We are excited to show of the first prototype arm-band OpenMuscle 1.0.
The design is evolving and we start to settle on our MUX of choice as well as our ADC of choice.
Currently we can achieve up to 500ksps for 4 sensors but that gets heavily reduced by the code at which we transfer the data out. Our hope is to get a detection frequency of in between 8hz-25khz. Very similar to that of audio. Also the current model contains 16 sensors by design bringing us closer to the 25khz sampling required or rather 50ksps.
There are many exciting things that we get to design and overcome in the next few weeks so join us on our journey to bring the cost of prosthetics down.
